Problem

So haven’t turned my lab off for the last 6months,​​ I found​​ out​​ I could no longer log in to the VCSA vCenter appliance. School boy error on the password expiry in VCSA

With the follow error​​ 

”Exception in invoking authentication handler User password expired”

Solution​​ 

I​​ could still login​​ into the appliance via SSH. Then invoke the shell command, and reset the root password with the passwd command;

Now if you wish, you can Disable VCSA Password Expiration: Administration > Edit > No > Save.
